I guess furniture is still cheaper than the HOME(:-

It is people remodeling instead of trying to move. My wife just brought up the subject last week about my present house. If your house is paid for and you are stuck, might as well have it as you like it. Funny you mentioned it, she was just talking about it.
Lots of foreclosures in some very nice Chicago suburbs, neighborhood paper had pages of them. 500,000 and up houses.
