Hello Boris and our other on-line friends,,
Here is a link to the article which was in the Telegraph concerning the Euro and Germans not wanting notes printed in some countries.
The headline was--Support for euro in doubt as Germans reject Latin bloc notes
By Ambrose Evans-Pritchard
Last Updated: 1:26am BST 13/06/2008

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?xml=/money/2008/06/13/cneuro113.xml

"Ordinary Germans have begun to reject euro bank notes with serial numbers from Italy, Spain, Greece and Portugal, raising concerns that public support for monetary union may be waning in the eurozone's anchor country."
And as I think I mentioned, cracks in the Euro Union would be very bullish for the dollar,,,I bet Big Ben is hoping for that crack to widen.
Have a good weekend-Tim

One more thing which I thought was interesting,,,,The Telegraph Newspaper online site has a section called "FINANCIAL CRISIS"

Here is that Link- http://www.telegraph.co.uk/money/main.jhtml?menuId=242&menuItemId=10359&view=HEADLINESUMMARY&grid=F7&targetRule=14

After checking it out Boris,,,Your idea of shorting the Pound really makes sense :)
Good Trading-Tim

Dear Tim
I salute you for doing the effort to find and bring to the attention of all readers/subscribers.

Thank you very much and it is very interesting that this confirms the things ROBERT was telling us all along.

Thank you both for this very relevant info.

I think, and this is my opinion only, of course, the EURO was created to spawn another AMERICAN style of consumerism and while the lesser developed EURO countries may have bought into consumerism the more steady GERMANS did not. They remember WEIMAR( or read about it) and are careful people.

Nevertheless It is my take that EURO ( OR GERMAN MARK, if it comes back) will not begin to dive too much, till 2010-2011

Dear Tim,
Vrey informative as always.
Thanks again and Good Trading

And about BRUTISH, yes, if the OIL demise for a while, at least, is in the cards, the last prop will come out of this INFLATED currency
