SOPITALIST for Wikipedia

Dear Readers, Word SOPITALISM was initiated into the the WIKIPEDIA and somehow somebody decided the word does not belong, which is pretty SOPITALISTIC when you think about it. So, I wrote this:

"I believe, know that SOPITALISM is a much more inportant word than "moral hazard".While Moral Hazard describes all kinds of moral hazards, SOPITALISM is very clearly addressing the issue of degenerative CAPITALISM/COMMUNISM and all other social systems, which left to themselves devolve into SOPITALISM. There is not a word on the Internet that describes what SOPITALISM describes and on that only merit it needs to be accepted. I see all other arguments totally useless in this regard.Of course, you can do whatever you please, but nothing will change the fact of SOPITALISM's not existence and the word will grow in usage, like it or not. Thanks for your time.Good Trading , Boris Chikvashvili"

When/if you have time/desire, please log on to the Wikipedia and tell them the word is important and stand alone and will grow in usage regardless.

Boris,

As to the financials, I would not touch them with a 10 ft polecat.
As you like it:
"their buy hangs a'tail"
(corrupt Shakespeare for "thereby hangs a tale"):

Deadbeat Worries Haunt Fund Managers

http://www.thestreet.com/s/deadbeat-worries-haunt-fund-managers/newsanalysis/assetmanagers/10380667.html?

Just how close did we come to systemwide meltdown?

Fresh news from Merrill Lynch gives an alarming hint -- and suggests just how vulnerable market sentiment remains.
Two words leap out of the investment bank's latest monthly survey of fund managers around the world: "counterparty risk."

That's supposed to be Wild West stuff -- the fear that the other poker players can't cover their bets, or might fail to pay up if they lose.

You don't expect it to be a big issue on the minds of the kind of blue-chip institutional investors that Merrill Lynch talks to.

But by last week, when they were polled by Merrill, 74% of them cited counterparty risk as a real danger to financial stability. Seventy-four percent.

That figure had trebled just since July. In fact it had soared even from the panicky week in early August when Merrill conducted its last survey.

Boris and all,
Notice that the talk of taxing the hedge funds, private equity etc. all stopped after Big Ben cut those rates. Also, the talk of tax increases on them has seemed to cease.

Dear Cobbense,
It looks to me like SOPITALIST owners of CAZINO USA have just realized that not all players have the chips necessary to play the game. As the chips were given out on turst , just to keep the CAINO rolling. Actually REAL CAZINO would never do that, right? Yes.

But you see this CASINO does not care, cause there always the $USD devaluation to save this illegal CAZION big institutions themselves are running all over the world.
Who do you think is supposed to know who the intermediaries are? JPMORGANS/CITIBANKS/BANK OF AMERICAS/MIZUHO/GOLDDMAN/MERRILL etc YES MERRILL too.

You see, dear cobbense it does not matter, there will be enough $US/EUROS/JPY's prinited to make all sides happy...
Just go buy ( should have bought) some gold when I said so.

Dear John, talk was nice to get the people to "notice" how "compassionate" CAPITALISM, more like SOPITALISM works.

You notice it, do you think the other guy did. In fact, I did not, until you told me. Good Thing I knew it was sham to begin with, I do not need to read. But many believe it will happen.

God Bless them.

Dear Cobbense, just to complete my response, Granted it is silly to have so many big banks across the continenet, where sometimes these guys do not talk the same language ( you can imagine ). So, you see why the SOPITALISTS are on the march to eventually get to ONE BIG WORLD BANK that do everything and then there will be no need to worry about coneterparites, cause there will be none. SOPITALISTS just will be taking money via constant depreciation of one currency, whatever that currency will be. Slowely but surely we are traveling in that direction. What do you think the EURO was all about? Bigger SOPITALISTS instead of smaller ones.

The situation in the UK is quite interesting.

As property (also commercial property) prices are now falling in the UK, and the Bank of England has now actually promised to guarantee all deposits everywhere, does the UK become a new Japan, i.e. with insolvent banks supported indefinitely by the government (= taxpayer)?

Also, now it's the speculators' and naked shorts' fault if Northern Rock fails - sound familiar?

Simon Ward, economist at New Star, said: “The Bank of England’s balance sheet has expanded by 13 per cent over the last week as a result of its intervention to stabilise the banking system.”

Fears short-sellers will focus on new bank

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/523475d2-6872-11dc-b475-0000779fd2ac.html

The biggest shareholder in Northern Rock warned on Friday that aggressive short-sellers would pick a new mortgage bank to target if the Bank of England did not maintain “indefinite” support for the Newcastle lender.

The level of shorting in Northern Rock shares has reached a level brokers say they have never seen before in a British blue-chip, with no availability of stock to borrow leaving some hedge funds selling shares they do not hold and so cannot deliver.

Dear Cobbense,
I appreciate the this chance to mention my timely postings about the "brutish death of british pound" was it correct or suppercorrect or what?

Pound will end up where it deserves to be in basememnt of currencies. It could take Year+ though before it finally collpses.

Good day to all, Boris I am not much of a candle stick chartist but what I have recognized in the s&p and dow is a evening star with 2 black crows. With your gages and the above comment the market is in a very undecided mode right hear. And are you still long some positions from the august buy signal.

boris said...

Dear Waldo, We are no more LONG on the market, even though we retain the mild bullish BIAS, the day we attempted to sell market, FED DAY, was also DAY we covered the LONGS. We may reenter, but that is it. We are now flat. There is not much doubt we go down here, question is how long and how much?

My idea of what has happened and the big boys doing there job like they want is: There was a record short position on the nyse and not many retail investors in the market so they did 2 things at once, they took market up to force shorts to cover and drawn in the retail investor because they just knew the train was going to leave the station without them again. Now for the slaughter.

Thank you Boris, the reason I was asking is my mother has not much time left, probably not more than one or two days. I just came from hospital and need to do something to help my mind. She is 86. I will go back after a 2 or 3 hour break.

Dear Greenie,
Thanks, Interesting site...
Can not keep up with everybody. Better they keep with me. Cause they may write a lot, with a little of actual actionable value. I write less, but more focused on doing something about it. Like educating people. Making them better traders/economic survivalists.
