Dear Jim, Readers, you know my current outlook. Some more upside is there, even if it all sideways. So, do not hurry, let the sentiment become bullish (bearish for stocks) and let the Pressure Gages register one or two High/Extreme SellPressure readings.

I think the problem is not that the yen is dropping, but that it appears it may have had a short term reversal from a long decline. I suggest that a rally in the yen will cause the problems you are referring to...if the yen starts to rise, people will have to get out of the carry trade which they can only do by selling US and Euro assets and converting back to yen.
