NVR is artificially propped so that the insiders can sell at a high price. This company has a habit of announcing buy backs or the stock pops at the beginning of the quarter. NVR will retest its 400 level and will eventually fail. Good luck!
Also short on CFC and BKUNA. These guys are dead in the water. Subprime & alt-A business gone.
Dear Rent, considering that NVR has held up better than any other builder I know, what you say makes sense. How can one company be so different in construction than anybody else?

I used to work in the mortgage biz so I have a first hand account of the fraud that goes on in the industry. Most of the people working in the biz care only on making $$ at all costs. That is why NEW, NFI, LEND have flamed out. In my area, truckful of mortgage brokerage are going out of biz and the local econ here will be hit hard. About 90% of houses bought in Orange Co. were bought with Option Arm teaser rate loans that has already reset or about to reset. No way the US economy will escape this unscathe!

The $SSEC now at 3495.22 has gone up almost 100% since October. Within one week it will top out at 3600 60 squared as its ARC goes Vertical. Within 4 months it will come down to 2601 51 squared a drop of 27.75 %. The DOW will get a proportional WACK.
