For all those who received this weekends SHAKERS, what is that about TRANSPORTATION being at the FAHAP.
What Kind of a freaking "bear market is this"? , Yes you can quote me!
As I usually do, I would like to discuss couple intriguing stocks in this weekends SHAKERS list.
SXI
HNZ
SIG
Now, SXI is a little company that manufactures, I can not count , items for food processing, mainly, but please read the summary on YAHOO. Incredible. We have noticed it in FEBRUARY first hitting the FAHAP. Unlike other companies that flame fast in and out of the upper AP cloud this one turned out to be a real steady Eddie( I am jinxing it now?) Keeps going like being an energizer bunny.
Now, SIG, jewelry retailer. You would think that in the see of drowning retailers there will not be anything like SIG hitting FAHAP, but here it is. I do not know why, but there must be a story there somewhere.
Now, HNZ, catchup is good , GOOD times or BAD. Period?
For a full disclosure, I own only SXI at this time. In that list you will also see my long time favorite NICOR , stocks symbol GAS

Merril start pamping the Shekel again. there is a good chance they are searching for buyers, but who care, it is only a matter of time till they join their friends - leman, freddy, fannie and bear strearns.
it is so pattetic to get recommendations from someone who his knowledge brought him to brankruptcy.

I really find that the GLOBES is not doing justice to it's reputation, when exclusively almost it gives access to these "SUGGESTIVE" things, while never once publishing my SHEKEL prediction chart.
Thank god, at least they have published my comments. Never even getting "desire" to interview the only man alive who prediced exact DOLLAR outline two years ahead.

Good afternoon. I will look at Transports after I print the shakers out. A little late on the computer, we have had over 7 inches of rain the last 24 hrs and are now getting the leftover from the hurricane. Everything is flooding here in Chicago

No complaints from me -considering Mark L. went through hurricane. There are some streets and expressways closed. Basements are flooded all over and the rivers are over their banks. But I just called someone I used to work with- downtown is fine with no flooding as of now.

I just looked up SIG on yahoo. Some of those jewelers that they own are ( how would I say it)- lower end jewelers that really advertise for wedding/engagement rings, etc. First thought is the downsizing of expectations, instead of going to a high end retailer for your wife/ girlfriend- you go to someone like Kay Jewelers which they own. Just a thought

It sounds to me the Earning will decrease as long as the USD is going up. (Often it is not that easy... They are probably trying to find some reserves etc.)
I thought HNZ was a company from Netherland or was it only the Dutch name? I can see the history back to 1970 on NYSE.

Hi everyone, got 4 inches of rain and a lot of wind here in ohio but nothing like the south. If my place floods the whole country will be in a world of pain. Boris I see you own SXI, I used to work for that company and they are a no nonsense company but I must tell you they are laying off workers and now in there second round of layoffs so there earnings will probably drop on there next earnings release. Just a heads up. Waldo.

Funny you should say that. One of my old bosses used to tell me I reminded him of a TV character called " Columbo". Columbo was a police lieutenant who would ask a question, leave after the answer, then come back with another question. He was always asking.
