Boris,
what do you think for EUR/USD right now?

Dear Nmmm.nu,
We talk about this all the time. It is, as I said, short term up into the end of the month for EURO and downhill for 18 months.

Dear John, It could remain that way. Remember we are waiting for the BIG FED day.

Keep you powder dry. When in doubt, stay out...

boris,

Your outlook on the EUR/USD is short term up(strong Euro), but wouldn't that contradict the US market direction you are saying to look for(weak near term)? US markets moving down should move the USD up and in turn move the Eur down. Am I mistaken in some way?

Dear Jason,
On a given day or week anything can happen that does not fit nicely into "conventions".

Let us say that Stock market, in generl, likes to go up when EURO goes up. OK, what if this is only true when the EURO goes up slithly ( or "orderly" as people like to refer to it) , in reality does not like it when EURO goes up too much , cause it looks "disorderly". Now these terms are in the EYES of pronouncer and market likes to pronounce things any way it likes to...

In any case, short and long of it is that EURO can go higher and Market could go lower, cause as the EURO goes higher( Dollar declines) people might sell deprecitating DOLLAR assets.

There are rules and there rules without rules.

World is too complex to fit it nicely into some schema ( frankly I do not know why YelloBrickRoad works in this context(: :))

Good Trading Dear Jason , Good question as always.

Dear Jason, Readers this is a perfect place to mention again the FLEXIBLE MIND. It is better for a trader to have a FLEXIBLE MIND than the Mathematical Beautiful Mind. Flexible Wins Over Smart.

Dear Boris,
I suppose you don't like this kind of questions, but: I don't have the idea how high could EUR/USD go in your scenario? Just because I would like to have some target. 1.50? 1.55? Only as idea.

Dear Ivan,
I like this question very much. The near target is 150.
