Dear John, SInce about couple months ago, Swimming became my daily(almost) event.
I cannot afford to bank my knees against the earth(:- too much( any more), so, I find swimming a god send. Of course continue strenght work on muscles for them to stay in shape.
Some biking , instead of running is doing good to keep all muscles in shape.
It is work, but somebody must do it.
Earlier days in life , this all looked as if there was nothing to day, just dress up and go.
These days that is work(:-. It is fun? now I understand why the sports education industry( healthcare , in general) is so big. To stay healthy we have to work for it.
It is not given any more!
Was it ever?
I guess hard to say. There were not so many "AGED" people on the earth at any other time.
