Bloomberg guest says he shorted gold at 1137 this week as he expects at least a 20% drop from the 1226 high (bringing price down to 980 level at least) at which time he said he will consider re-entry ... He says it is a better trade than long USD as you get 2 to 1 leverage

Once upon a time In the depths of (dep)recesison I was advocating to buy simple things like GIM, FAX , TEI, FAM.
Nobdoy knew what the hell these meant.
OK.
They are up over 100% most of them and their yields at that time ranged from 9-15%

NOT FREAKIN BAD If you have them now, you just take the YIELD and enjoy life(:- Of, course, their are riskier now, as the capitall loss probability is much higher at this time, but...
When I warned all, YIELD/DIVIDEND is what one needed. There were not too many believers
Yes, Dear Michael, We know XLF is doing a bit better these days and so is the sisterm IYR. We do not change our outlook on couple days action though ( thank GOD). We may postphone what our outline thinks and try to find better position to follow it. So, Our postion has not changed. We expect what our outlines expect.
They may get dilayed or come early in time and they may strech in price up or dow, but You will notice, that I never justify intermediate to long term outlook on anything that happens in very short timr frame
