Julian Robertson was recently interviewed by CNBC.
The U.S. is going to "pay the piper" in the form of higher interest rates, so short bonds.

Julian must have figured out the Federal Reserve and US Treasury are buying their own bonds in the US Treasury auctions. In effect they are laundering bonds haha. That it is the reason I always have a good laugh when CNBC talks about how successful the bond auctions are every week.
