Hi Boris, I have decided that banks just issue this stuff for the confusion factor: From Globes today....Merrill Lynch analysts Turker Hamzaoglu and Jean-Michel Saliba say that they remain fundamentally bullish on the shekel. Their fundamental valuation model shows a fair value exchange rate to be NIS 3/$.In 2011, the analysts expect the shekel to weaken against the dollar, as well as a euro-dollar basket, as interest rate increases are priced in, and the current account surplus diminishes.Merrill Lynch expects the exchange rate to rise to NIS 3.8/$ by the end of 2010, and to rise to NIS 3.9/$ by the third quarter of 2011. First, they said bullish on the shekel and fair valuation is 3. Then they said expect the rate to be 3.8 in the next 90 days, and then a rise to only 3.9 by Q3, 2011. Talk about a Flip Flop!
Dear Miriam,YOu and i know(:- !That the latter is correctand meanwhile, they want the people to expect 3 and be trapped there , because they do not say when the trun will happen do they? This is the same company that copied my original work and call it their own.I am , actually , not sure, BOI is not aware and tacitly approves this staff. ( GOD HELP US).Remember Dr Stanley Fischer apparently was at Merrill at some point in his career .GOod Trading Dear Miriam
