Dear Bert, I think, all those adage are just that. My statistics show that this approach "sell rosh hashanah buy yom kippur" or the inverse are not profitable. So, It is a long time , I do not pay much attention to it. Even though I must say that there seems to be a tendency to make a high or low near YOM Kippur. Still not definitive enough to trade without discretion(:-

We knew this was coming and we knew it is near(er) than anybody assumed.
We never tell anybody to bet the farm on anything, but beyond that the above statement , as part of the continuing evaluation of CHFJPY , EURJPY was right on the money.
