In your weekend musings, could you go over your thoughts on the yen again, especially with respect to any threat of currency intervention by the Japanese Gov't?
FED wins as the stock market recovers. Jpy wins as its value goes down and it is an export driven economy. Aud wins as the value of their raw minerals goes up.
Yet, we will try extend that view in price and time dimensions and see what we come up with.
Of, course, W/i Have no connections whatever with the Japanese policy makers, so my answer, will be of a kind that predicts political events( intervention) from market data , rather than the other way around of predicting the market by what politicians will do.

(I read them at that time but did not post here my thanks) I am shorting gold now and hope to make a crumb or two. :) By the way my subscription expires 9-5-2010 and can you please re-send the email with the renewal rate? Hate to miss something over the weekend b/c I did not renew.
