HealthScare, Sounds Familiar?

Over 4 years we have told you volatility will dominate markets for next 7-10 years, so, that what cannot be taken from you via taxing, will be taken away via markets. Hallelujah. If you need More proof of this after 62% down and 80% in 3 years, then just wait few more months , please. You need a map or you will be close to vomiting from all of these gyrations. Aha, you did not know, why market was taken down and up, do you? Yes, to take your money away. If you are not into conspiracy, I appreciate that and ask you please, think perhaps somebody may have interest in taking your money anyway?

I will also guess the peanut farmer but I will hedge it with the misogynist as a possibility.

Written by someone who has a sopitalists father and went to Harvard Law with a Columbia MBA who knows everything there is to know about everything. There is an outside chance that the writer was a Yalie.

Yes Sir!

hi boris, do you think this "healthscare" is a first step towards Plato's Utopia? Plato, in his laws (174-f), states that "in an ideal state the range of economic disparities should be between 1:16.If it increases considerably, the state is either a Democracy or an Oligarchy."

Dear Gorli,
I am all for equalization of opportunities so that the society functions better.

I should , actually refer to my desire as optimization not equalization. Which means that society, to begin with eliminates the causes of disparity by having honest political system, not by mandating it!!!

See the difference, Soviet Union mandated the equalization, see where that got them. That is where we go to unless we move from SOITALISM fo free/honest capitalism

Now, with my beef for this healthcare bill.

The problem with it the same it has always been. Payer of the services, is not directly aware of the costs, as it is born by society.

Any and all such schemes are doomed for failure. Well, we have already failed. Look at our budget. Look how, I have never borrowed penny , but My government tells me that I owe 200000 dollar to the world, because my leaders, have been busy spending the money for me!

How nice ha.

Dear Gorli, you know and everybody does, I am for egalitarian society, but we do not have that by ten thousand mile(:-. What we have is
SOPITALISM and this healthcare bill does nothing to change that.

Now granted, there is always something in these bills to make it easy to swallow for uninitiated masses. Such as No Denial for healthcare insurance for prior illness and parents being able to carry children on their insurance up till the age 26( i think ) etc.

But, As I said , this is nothing but the charade, because. I repeate

1) The payment system is upside down
2) This is really a tax bill, as it starts the taxes immediately, while delivering( nor Promising (:- ) benefits in future.

That is how Social security got to being SOCIAL insecurity, where people are almost sure, now that they will never receive much of the
SS money or will receive worthless dollars ,which amount to the same.
Remember Gov has initially, promised Social Security to be there when we retire, but spend all that money on their own lavish goodies and now we are left to wonder if they will ever deliver on their promises. Also remember, unlike many other things, a lot of people have put a lot of money in the SS system. I for one have contributed over 300000 to it! of the Dollars at the prices of 1.61 to 1.21. Now Dollar is worth 80 going lower and I am not even clear i will ever see the promised money, let alone the fact that its purchasing power is half of what it was.

Now you see, Dear Gorli, the proof is in the pudding. If we , citizens trust our politicians than that is all fine, but do we. Can we? did they give us reason to trust them?

You will be the judge.
I commend you for advocating the nice goal. So am I. That is whey we are Antisopitalists.

Good Trading Dear Gorli

So, there are my main points about this.

March 22 (Bloomberg) -- The bond market is saying that it’s safer to lend to Warren Buffett than Barack Obama.

Two-year notes sold by the billionaire’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. in February yield 3.5 basis points less than Treasuries of similar maturity, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Procter & Gamble Co., Johnson & Johnson and Lowe’s Cos. debt also traded at lower yields in recent week ....

Well, Warren should pay less, Dear Boris, as he's tight with the Goldmen :-)

xerxes said...

It's a good bill Dear Boris .... They'll be hiring 10's of thousands of bureaucrats and tax collectors to implement and control the program; this along with the million census workers could make a real dent in the ranks of the unemployed; they could very well ignite a housing boom in the greater DC area when these hordes of new employees arrive, creating a virtuous cycle of hiring and rising real estate prices ... One must be sanguine, not surly here Dear Boris so just gimme euros :-)

The Doctor in Atlas Shrugged: "I have often wondered at the smugness at which people assert their right to enslave me, to control my work, to force my will, to stifle my mind—yet what is it they expect to depend on, when they lie on an operating table under my hands? Their moral code has taught them to believe that it is safe to rely on the virtue of their victims. Well, that is the virtue I have withdrawn. Let them discover the kind of doctors that their system will now produce. Let them discover, in the operating rooms and hospital wards, that it is not safe to place their lives in the hands of a man they have throttled. It is not safe, if he is the sort of man who resents it—and still less safe, if he is the sort who doesn’t.”

exactly,
it will produce
SOVIET STYLE doctors
sorry butchers

For they have no will to learn
no will to compete and no will to be slave. They will get paid the same , so why do it.

Yes, exactly.

Boris,

Good morning

The perfect example are VA hospitals. Government run and awful. I had the displeasure of being in one when I got back. Not fun. I am guaranteed free health care until I die, but I would rather pay than go to the VA.

So Dear Boris, what do you have an opinion about the tax on unearned income (dividends, non-muni interest, royalties, cap gains) insomuch as to any effects on trading ....

B-berg has a chump (Chief Advisor)from First Trust on who says that 300,000 and maybe more job gains in March with the unemployment rate down to 8% by year-end; USA is in a V-shaped recovery; households are healing rapidly

boris said...

Dear Xerxes,
I do not have the problem with the concept of taxes. And whatever agreed ways are for taxing, all USA citizens should support it for common good.

The real problem I have is with spending. It is no business of anybody to put one citizen in debt for another.

That is not the a reasonable, healthy way to run the country.

Of course, some taxes maybe better than the others, but that is another issue.

I am for consumption tax. One consumes , one pays. What should be simpler.

Nothing.

But it will take a long time before our government accepts this simple concept.
