Dear Subscriber
Dollar is getting taken apart here as the SHEKEL/EURO prediction chart predicts.

But none of that changes our forecast for higher Dollar Into Spring.

Hello Dear Boris....

franc is approaching the uptrend line from july.....

i'll sell francs below it with a tight stop, just in case you're correct and the buck rallies :-)

but it looks dark on all the indicators.....

Dear Xerxes, I am not into short term trading Frank at this time. I am sure a lot of money can be made trading "right", but that is difficult proposition. I would be more inclined to sell more dollars when it rallies. In any case, Frank may not make lows against Dollar in spring. Perhaps EURO and others do, but Frank may not.

That is all I can say.

Of course, you can trade it you would like to. Tools are here.

Good morning Boris, do you see some kind of a short term rally today. thanks, waldo

Hello Dear Boris....

Buck has been in freefall since last Monday. It's a long way back to 1.2345....

USDX and Euro have powered thru trend lines....Actors must be selling bucks on this technical causing the freefall....

If my math is correct, the 1.37ish area is a 38% retrace of whole move down from 1.6050.....

Maybe it stops there. Only you know :-)

Thank you very much for everything Boris....

Dear Xerxes,
Unfortunately, I do not know, at least not allthe details.

I am like a blind with a stick.
I go and feel around and sometimes I even have a dog to lead me(:-

Really trader, does not know ( true trader) he/she just goes and feels the way around , especially where these local twists are concerned.

Good Trading Dear Xerxes, but you got the points figured, the question is will it turn or not there?

Ok, looks a bit slow day, but it is not really, S&P has already moved around 2%.

You see we let the markets come to our place, instead of us chasing the markets.

What does that do?

It proves that we know why and how we are trading.
It allows our intellectual capacities ( brains) to be fresh and ready to act when the real time to act comes.

There is no way to describe, the importance of a fresh mind in trading.

I have tryied often, I am not sure i or anybody else is scuccesfull in describing it.

It must be experienced and compared.

Most of traders lose because they do not have those two conditions figured out.

If there is an accountant that knows this issue I would appreciate the anser.

We know thet KMP/EPD and MLPs in general have a problem in IRA accounts.

Is the case the same with stocks/ETF like BSR which represent the MLP stocks?

Dear Boris, good day.

You do a lot of respect to the SHEKEL when binding it to the Euro.

as per both currencies (shekel and euro) it is reasonable to have some retrace after this big decline.

I hope we wont find shekel in 3.6-7levels again, but who knows.

as per the Euro there is a theory that it is manipulated for the Christmas sales, and after it will continue to decline.

take care good friend
Sharon

Greetings Boris,
Read that final hour of trading
in S&P accounts for 26.2% of trading volume and last 1/2 hr.
is 17.1% (for the month of Nov.)
In 2006 #'s were 20.7% and 12.9% respectively.
There is nothing nicer than waking up to the musical whir of a snow plow at 5:00 a.m. Estimate was for 5" of the white stuff, but I multiply by 1.618 to get the actual depth:-)

Klaatu,

8 degrees in chicago, yesterday almost hit 50 with rain. No wonder the whole city is sick all winter long.

John-
Supposed to hit 8 tonight, but I have to tell you, your 8 is one hell of a lot colder.I grew up in N.Y. city and it was bitter. It is a dry cold here and not bad. Saw a teenager yesterday shoveling a walk in a t-shirt.It was his first snow.He came from Phoenix!

My guess with today's action little has changed on pressure charts. waldo.

boris said...

Dear Waldo,
I am not sure, I think this decline can do something to raise the Buy Pressure. It is a deceptive day. If tomorrow we can get the similar day then, cumulatively, we probably will make the buy pressure go to around 19 which will be a good possible long signal ( BEASTS may confirm it too!)

Good afternoon, Boris. G'Afternoon, all.

Boris, is the signal at the bottom of the pressure chart something that will recover quickly to previous levels? (eg., a sliding window of sorts). Or do you expect it to take longer because of the extreme sell-off?

Thanks.

אנטי-סופיטליסט said...

fed announce interest rates tomorrow also so don't see much action until after 2:15.expecting 1/2 percent cut. we are now in a japanese style market and we all know what happened to them. waldo.

boris said...

Dear Vin,
GOod Morning to you as well.

YOu mean the oscillator at the bottom?

If so, that oscillator is kind of a invese of the Orange oscillator above it, but it is normalised to by SPX Price and that is why it looks like a crater, after the October collapse.

For it to recover to the previous tops, SPX must reach areas of 1060 or above.

Good Trading My Dear Friend Vin

Vin said...

Boris,

Yep... that cratered oscillator. OK! That's very helpful to me. Thanks for listening to my silly questions.

EUR/USD seems rather useless today... I owe you for opening my eyes to the CHF and other anti-dollar components. :)
