There is no surprise in today's move Dear Readers, we have expected this in all our postings lately, so it is here and we shall see what signals we generate as a result of this and when. Patience is needed with the market here.

It's incredible that we've fallen so far with the financials maintaining relative strength. If those start to follow, it could get a bit ugly.

Boris, should we be a little concerned that CHF and EUR are inching toward those APs?

boris said...

Dear VIn,
Yes, this is a concern indeed
My conditions are that CHF must hold for us to hold on stocks and if that does not happen, it will be harder for stocks to hang on

Good Trading

Thanks, Boris. Growing another set of eyes for all of your signals...

Dear Readers,
Considering how far ES could have gone, it has only reached the second so far and bounce. Not too bad if it keeps this low

Hi Boris,
In the past, Lagscrew made reference to "ISEE". What is this and when can I find it. Thanks, bob

daveo said...

Bob, go to ISE.com. It is a call to put option open trade ratio. Too high is bearish (too exhuberant), too low is bullish. They also eplain the data on site.

Vin said...

Bob,

It is a measure of retail purchases of calls and puts.

Markets are not wanting to drop much here. Wonder if we'll see some kind of retrace in the wild move in CHF ?

Dear Bob,
ISEE is found at

Dear Dave,
It seems like , in this thin market the powers to be want to play a bit and move currencies around.

Who knows, maybe they are able to do more than that. YOu know, once the ball gets starts rolling , sometimes , it is hard to stop it

Good Trading

Thanks you all for the help on "ISEE". Boris,
How does this relate to your PCRATIO. I know that your ratio is proprietary, but is there any correlation between the two
Thanks again, bob

wow boris you nailed that 851---never thought it could do it today--the tick was zero on the run up to 851 so it should fail I would guess---dont watch TICK all that much--y e t

Bob
try this as I had a hard time finding my way once in there if I remember correctly

Watch also the 848 tgt, that is a hidden pivot. waldo

Bob

you can watch # thew out the day as they update every 20 min.

usually near 150 is high so market should start selling off

end of day is what I use mostly which updates early morning. anything in the 130-140 range end of day is a sell signal. dont use this by itself tho but it is nice to add to toolbox

lagscrew said...

remember I have a big # dropping off the 5 days of trin on Monday so today or Monday should produce a nice drop. If things hold around here today at these levels it should drop harder on Monday

Lag, Boris, All
Thanks again for info on ISEE. I will have to study during the weekend, between Christmas shopping and sunbathing in the great SanDiego sun. Good trading. bob

John,
BURRRRRRRR. Winters will be better in Arizona, but the summers are, as you know very hot.
Selfishly, I wish it was cold everywhere because I bought natural gas, and I am taking a beating.
Boris, do you plan to send out another antidollar "SEE future"?
Burrrrr, bob

Dear Bob,
Seefuture, comes out every quarter.
One Year, ahead version is $ 1500/year and gives much more flexibility for planning.

This is an institutinal level product and understandably not inexpensive for individuals.

This is actually our best product, for a true investor.
