Hi Boris and all, congraulations john on the sell of your home. Trimmed back on some of my positions today, just hope I didn't do it to soon. I think market is acting today showing everyone how strong it is and it might be but I don't believe it. Gold is on a tear again probably heading to 920 to 950 in a hurry. Libor is creeping back up again and market is ignoring that one also. waldo.

Waldo,

Cleaning out a house is a big undertaking, wife is all emotional about the move , etc

Keeping my fingers crossed

as Boris would say- good trading

John,

When my wife and I moved from Seattle to Edmonds in 1999 we had to have the roof of our old house replaced before putting it on the market. The roofers put a big dumpster on the street and told us we could use it along with them. I'm sure we put more junk in it then they did and I still made a number of trips to the transfer station with my van. We all collect too much stuff (junk?) and have a hard time parting with it. But now is the time to downsize.

John, very thoughtful thinking about salvation army. I have bought some learning books and toys for the kids christmas already but cannot match what I did last year. Wish I could hit the lottery so I could give them a christmas of a lifetime. waldo.

Waldo,,
Always remember Salvation Army. They were great to us when I was in Vietnam and flew down to Danang. They just could not do enough for us. Always contribute to them.

Dear Boris and gang,
Salvation Army is the best. Always there for the G.I.My brother was in the Korean war and has nothing but praise for them. They have the highest percent of their contributions going to help people of any charity.
Just moved into a small cabin in the Sierras and am going through so much stuff I want to discard.
Everything I value wouldn't fetch
50 bucks at a yard sale. With a heart attack behind me I want to eliminate all the crap in my life.
My largest volume is books which I intend to read.I have no t.v. so it won't be hard.
Moves can be great because you discover things you forgot all about and get rid of the loose baggage.
Good trading to all and bon voyage to you John.
A good friend of mine just got a notice that his company is closing for December.Customers are either slow or not paying the bills.

Dear Boris,
One of my best friends is a Georgian like yourself. When we lived in Santa Monica in the 80's,he moved back to New York.He left Santa Monica Friday morning
and arrived in New York before sunrise on Monday. And he was arrested and put in jail in Missouri. He was supposed to see a judge on Monday for speeding. But he told the police they were right for stopping him but he just loved this country and was so excited he forgot the speed limit. They loved it and let him go.He is a super guy. He was a wrestler in Georgia and almost made the Olympics.

I'm reading about all the junk we have,,,,,an interesting sidenote.
When Katrina jit new Orleans,,,we all lost so much,,,but most people I talk to feel simular to what is being said on this board.
We all accumulate too much junk,,,,and in truth,,,we need so little.
Americans are very bad at this IMO,,,not only do we fill up our houses,,,we rent storage units for more junk which we never use.
We need so little,,,but have been brain washed into shopping,,,so we go shopping,,,and buy some silly new gadget for the kitchen,,,or some toy for us or the kids.
As we get older,,,we realize,,,all we need is very little. Comfortable cloths are good,,,a roof over our heads, food,,but HEALTH is # 1.
Health,,family and friends.

Dear Boris, I see the winos kept you awake today! Hey John, late '67 I got back from Saigon and was partying with my pen-pal at San-Juan Capastraino. Fun trips to T-town. Then later in life met a guy from Chi a world class pool shooter who later bought Bensingers. We bet sports and I had lots of trips up to Klaatu's area from Sparks to Tahoe picking up $$$.After 18 yrs in Vegas trudging thru snow back in Ohio. Hope everyone else is having as much fun. Mmm... I just love it when the currencies/10-years diverge from equity futures at night: currencies have retraced the wild movement that started around 12:15 EST. (Unwinding and 20-somethings clicking madly? :) )

Night night from over here!
